Cellulite Removal
CelluErase is a highly effective cellulite removal treatment. A special microblade is used to break and release the bands of fibrous connective tissue which then results in the skin springing back for a smoother appearance.
Hips, thighs and buttocks commonly have cellulite however it may also appear on the abdomen, breasts or upper arms, which are all areas that can be treated.
The procedure is highly effective and one treatment is enough for the majority of clients. However, severe cellulite may require more treatments.
Results are visible immediately and further results can also be seen afterwards once all bruising has cleared up.
Lidocaine is injected into the treatment area to help minimise discomfort.
Although the microblade that is used is very narrow, occasionally the treatment may result in a tiny scar. Thickened scars, such as hypertrophic or keloid scars, could occur. If you have a tendency for these, it is essential you inform us. Rarely the treatment may result in scabs, blisters or vesicles at the treatment site.
Pigmentation may occur due to the bruising within the skin – it is important to avoid exposure to UV light until healing is complete.
- Avoid saunas, steam rooms and sunbeds for 48 hours after treatment
- Avoid direct sun exposure for at least 7 to 10 days following treatment to allow your skin to fully heal
- Avoid strenuous exercise for 48 hours.
- Avoid chemical peels, microdermabrasion, hair removal including waxing, or any laser treatments in the area for a minimum of 2 weeks after treatment or until the skin has fully recovered.
- Keep the area clean – avoid fake tan, perfumed moisturisers and products.
