Semi Permanent Makeup

Wake up with your makeup on. Semi permanent makeup is a cosmetic tattooing procedure (sometimes referred to as ‘micropigmentation’) where the pigment only penetrates the top layer of skin. Results last 12-24 months depending on the individual’s skin.

Price includes top-up treatment (required 4-6 weeks after the first treatment)

No, microblading inserts pigment by using a tool to cut the skin whereas semi permanent eyebrows are created using a machine. Similar to tattooing, but the pigment only penetrates the top layer of skin. Semi permanent eyebrows are better suited to a wider variety of skin types compared to microblading.

The shape is drawn on and once you’re happy with it, the makeup is applied using a small machine which inserts the pigment using a needle. Anaesthetic is applied to ease any discomfort.

For eyebrows and lip blush the treatment can take 2-3 hours. For eyeliner, the treatment can take up to 2 hours depending on whether only the top and bottom lash line are being treated or both.

When first applied, the pigment will be bold and vibrant. After a week, the pigment will fade to a more natural shade. Sometimes it may appear that the pigment has fully disappeared but don’t panic! It’s a normal part of the process and the pigment then reappears. A top up is required 6-8 weeks afterwards to help retain the pigment for longer lasting results.

Do not pick at any scabs. Avoid wearing makeup for 14 days where you’ve had the treatment. Also avoid sun beds and fake tan for 14 days.
